Nigerian media personality, filmmaker, and entrepreneur Toyosi Etim-Effiong, wife of acclaimed Nollywood actor Daniel Etim-Effiong, has candidly shared her perspective on infidelity in marriage, stating that cheating alone would not end her union.
During a recent appearance on media personality Toke Makinwa's popular podcast Toke Moments, Toyosi addressed the sensitive topic head-on: “Cheating is not a dealbreaker for me. I even created a prayer group, Wives of Entertainers Prayer Group, to pray for our husbands so that Jezebels will not carry them.”
Toyosi emphasized that her stance does not condone infidelity but highlights the importance of faith, forgiveness, communication, and resilience in building a lasting marriage—especially in the high-temptation environment of the entertainment industry. She stressed that marriage requires deliberate effort from both partners, patience, and spiritual protection rather than immediate dissolution over a single mistake.
The couple, who tied the knot in November 2017 and share children together, have often been admired for their transparency about the realities of marriage. Toyosi's comments underscore her commitment to protecting and strengthening her home through prayer and mutual understanding.
Her revelation has sparked widespread discussions online, with many praising her maturity and focus on faith, while others debate personal boundaries in relationships.
